Parents asking for return of necklaces with son's cremated remains

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Two parents are asking for the return of seven necklaces and trinkets that were taken from a pickup that was parked at a hotel north of Grand Rapids last Thursday.

Rodney McFall tells WOOD-TV that they contain cremated remains from his son, Jaysen McFall, who passed away in February.

"It was tough when Jaysen passed away because he left three kids behind, a three-year-old son, a two-year-old daughter and a six-month-old son,” Rodney McFall said.

McFall says the items were going to be given to the children.

Rodney McFall says the items were in his pickup, which has a broken door lock.

Someone left four of the 11 memorial necklaces at the Hampton Inn in Walker, but all of them were damaged.
