WML Tuesday: Rain Clearing Out, Schools Banning Phones, & a Chicken Craze

Rain is clearing out of West Michigan today, Forest Hills schools are banning cellphones, & Popeye's released a new chicken sandwich that has people waiting in line for over 40 minutes.

BIG 3

1  Weather - Rain wrapping up today and clearing out this week. Bill Steffen says a good weekend is on tap.

2 School is back in at Forest Hills schools and kids are in class with all of their school supplies. But are leaving one daily tool behind.. their phones.

A new rule nixes the phones in classrooms.

Good rule?

We dive in to this more in depth with tech talk Tuesday.

3 Chicken..

People are freaking out all over the country and West MICHIGAN included for a chicken sandwich.

Popeyes launched a sandwich that’s going head to head (and turning a few too) with folks like Chick Fil A.

Speaking of chicken, KFC has launched the thing you never knew you needed. And probably still don’t. Meatless chicken

Notables

NWS - Other than an isolated shower early this morning, conditions will be drying out today, especially this afternoon. Decreasing clouds are predicted. Large waves and strong currents on Lake Michigan will make swimming and walking on piers dangerous Today and Wednesday.

People are encouraging others to register to vote while waiting in line for Popeyes chicken sandwiches

This is the most American thing we've ever heard
