Thanks to the site, ARSTechnica.com, we now know that each year at this time, Craigslist users across the country flag their favorite classified ads for inclusion in the "best of" category. The bar to inclusion is high, but somehow each year America comes through with memorable postings that remind us just why we went ahead with this whole Web 2.0 thing.

This year was no exception, including the sad sale or non-sale of a Morrisey shrine(shown above) and the sale of an expensive BMW, once driven by a reckless daughter of the angry parent poster.  See the entire list of the  top "Weird Posts of 2012" on Craigslist here.
