Hey there, I'm Shmitty! You probably hear me if you've ever called the studio, given gas prices or looked for school closings! But I'm much more then the person that keeps Gary Allen and Steve Kelly in line.
I'm originally from Lansing and I still pride myself on the 'cap city'. I went to Grand Valley State University for broadcasting. Go Lakers! I graduated in 2009 and after an... interesting summer job hunting, I got the privilege to join the mighty WOOD and wake up with two incredibly knowledgable, witty and always hilarious guys. I love working with this morning team and giving you the News, Weather, Traffic and Sports you need! And now I can give you a glimpse into my world, so check back often!
I will admit I'm a fan of Bed, Bath and Beyond. Sure I can never get Steve to come with me or Gary without coupons to entice but they always have some of the coolest things. Now, I wonder if it was all an illusion.
