GRPD and Hyundai Teaming Up to Offer Anti-Theft Vehicle Upgrades

The Grand Rapids Police Department and Hyundai Motor America are teaming up to offer free anti-theft software upgrades at a three-day event downtown.

The software will help combat a method of theft that seems to be spreading across social media. Mobile service technicians will be at 555 Monroe Ave. NW, to install the upgrades. Hyundai owners who attend will also get a free steering wheel lock, and technicians will be on site from noon to 6 PM. this Sunday and from 8 AM to 6 PM on Monday and Tuesday.
