OLIVE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - It appears Lucy Ebel has lost her seat on the Ottawa County Commission in a recall election.
Democrat Chris Kleinjans took 60 percent of the vote. Results have yet to be certified.
Those behind the recall effort called Ebel and other members of Ottawa Impact counterparts "too extreme."
It wasn't the only recall question on ballots in the region. Two members of the school board in Grant survived their recall elections.
Also yesterday, Kentwood voters approved an increased public safety millage.
