Hambley's attorney wants video, transcripts of ruling released

MUSKEGON (WOOD-AM) - Attorney Sarah Howard wants a judge in Muskegon County to release video and transcripts of a ruling last week that freed Ottawa County from having to pay her client, Adeline Hambley, $4 million in exchange for her resignation.

Hambley is Ottawa County's administrative health officer.

Howard is accusing an Ottawa County commissioner and the county's attorney of misrepresenting the decision after it was made in a closed session.

"As predicted, defendants and defense counsel have made various statements to the media about the court's decision that are false and at odds with this court's factual findings and actual decision," Howard said in a brief that she provided to WOOD-TV.

Howard asked the court to hear arguments on February 14.
