Attorneys for Hambley, Ottawa County board agree to mediate

OLIVE TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Adeline Hambley's attorney, Sara Howard, says she's looking forward to attempting to resolve issues between her client and the Ottawa County Commission.

Both sides have agreed to bring in a mediator.

Previously, Howard said the board agreed to a $4 million payout for Hambley to step down from her role as administrative health officer, but the board's attorney says that deal was never finalized.

Previously, Hambley was accused of incompetence, misconduct and neglect of duty during the budget process.
