A woman is facing up to seven years in prison after she was found guilty of felony animal cruelty.
Heather Nicole Alexander was charged in April 2022 with abandoning or cruelty to 25 or more animals.
Investigators found her minivan parked in a parking lot in Alpine Township with 27 dogs in cages.
Alexander is free on bond.
She is scheduled for sentencing next month.
