Man accused of sex trafficking in Grand Rapids

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Michigan says a Grand Rapids man is accused of sex trafficking a minor and distributing, creating and receiving child pornography.

Twenty-nine-year-old Torey Franklin is charged with human trafficking crimes and federal child exploitation.

Officials allege Franklin used a 17-year-old Kent County minor for sex work between April and August 2022.

He faces at least 10 years in prison if convicted.
