Lake Michigan College is offering an online class that covers the wine industry.
The class began as an in-person option about nine years ago and is now being offered online as well.
Michael Moyer, director of wine and viticulture for the school, says the lecture-based class will focus on the basics of winemaking and fermentation.
Prerequisites for the program include a love of wine and a want to learn about the production process.
