The Grand Rapids Public Library is now offering free hygiene products to teens who need them.
The library has installed a blue locker in the teen section that has a variety of hair ties, deodorant, socks and dental supplies.
GRPL public services coordinator Megan Biggins says the library is a comforting space for everyone whether that means offering a comfortable chair or basic human dignity.
The library has supplied the first two months worth of products and is accepting donations to keep the locker stocked.
