Two brothers defending sibling who killed their father

Two years after Silas Potter killed his adopted father, two of his brothers are speaking out.

Eli Potter says the situation is being treated as black and white, but there is gray area when it comes to Silas.

In May 2020, Silas shot and killed Phillip Potter after he attempted to keep Silas from looking at pornography.

Silas was ruled incompetent to stand trial five months ago and was admitted to the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital.

In October, the hospital contacted Kent County Prosecutor Chris Becker to let him know they were processing Silas to be discharged.

Becker protested Silas' release.
