Man facing charges after shooting Right to Life volunteer

The man who shot and injured a Right to Life volunteer is now facing charges.

Seventy-four-year-old Richard Harvey was charged on Friday with careless discharge of a weapon causing injury, reckless use of a firearm and felonious assault.

The incident happened on September 20 around 1:30 p.m.

Richard Harvey says he accidently shot Joan Jacobson after asking her to leave their property.

Jacobson says she was asking Sharon Harvey to vote against Proposal 3 and left the property when she was asked.
