The Allegan County Sheriff's deputy who was driving when his cruiser hit another car, killing a woman, will face misdemeanor charges.
Deputy Thomas Goggins will be charged with a moving violation causing serious impairment and a moving violation causing death.
The crash happened on June 12 in Manlius Township.
The cruise hit a GMC Acadia injuring the driver, Jose Nunez, and killing the passenger, Ofelia Nunez.
