Public to vote on which GR projects will get federal funding

The community will be able to vote on which Grand Rapids projects will get federal COVID-19 relief dollars, starting Friday.

Between September 30 and October 5, individuals ages 13 and older will be able to vote online, at a Grand Rapids Public Library branch or at a Pull Up and Vote event.

The Participatory Budgeting Grand Rapids steering committee has selected 27 finalists from ideas pitched from the community.

The finalists and the amount of money they could receive are listed on the city's website.
