1 Donald Trump Jr. will be in West Michigan Friday to help rally support for Republican candidate for governor Tudor Dixon.
She’ll be joined by AG Candidate, Matt DePerno, SOS candidate, Kristina Karamo & John Gibbs who’s running for congress in Michigan’s 3rd district.
The rally in Muskegon is at the Barclay Place Event Center in Muskegon, and doors open at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
2 An attorney for several of the Oxford families revealed new evidence in the case against the school, saying they were negligent for not intervening before the tragedy happened on November 30, 2021.
Ven Johnson, who represents the families of Tate Myre and Justin Schilling, said that sworn depositions revealed that that the school had several indications of the killer’s troubling mindset leading up to the attack. Johnson and the families said they're adamant this could have been avoided.
3 A Democratic lawmaker in Florida is suing Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis to stop him from transporting more migrants from the southern border, arguing last week's flights to Martha's Vineyard violated state law. State Sen. Jason Pizzo, a Miami Democrat, says DeSantis illegally misspent taxpayer dollars by flying about 50 migrants from San Antonio to the Massachusetts island. DeSantis has vowed to transport more migrants from the border, and previously told reporters that the flights to Martha's Vineyard were "just the beginning." DeSantis said the action was paid for with $12 million that was allocated in the state budget, and he promised to use "every penny."
