MI Court of Claims judge strikes down abortion law

LANSING, Mich. - Michigan Court of Claims Judge Elizabeth Gleicher has struck down the state's 1931 law that criminalizes abortion.

The decision comes after a prior decision by the Michigan Court of Appeals, ruling enforcement of the ban can come from local prosecutors.
