Second trial announced for two men over alleged to kidnap Whitmer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Barry Croft Jr. and Adam Fox, two of the men accused of plotting to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in 2020, will be facing a second trial this week after jurors were unable to come to unanimous verdict on the two earlier this year.

Jurors will once again hear secretly recorded conversations, social media posts and text messages that happened around the alleged time of the group crafting the plan.

Back in April, the jury acquitted Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta.
