KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety is investigating after a person was found with a gunshot wound on Phelps Avenue in Kalamazoo Monday morning.
The victim as pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital. Their name has yet to be released, pending family notification.
The incident remains under investigation, as it is unknown what led to the shooting. Police did not release any suspect information.
