Several Kent Co. courts offering to waive warrants if tickets paid in April

Three Kent County courts will waive warrants for people who pay their unpaid parking tickets and fines before the end of April.

The 61st, 62-B and 63rd district courts say they will give people an opportunity to settle past due fines without penalty.

Judge Jeffrey J. O-Hara says qualified applicants will be given the opportunity to set up payment plans and avoid penalties or incarceration.

A similar program in the 62-B and 63rd district courts in 2019 resulted in almost 300 resolved cases.
