Governor Whitmer announced on Wednesday that eligibility for the vaccine is opening up to individuals 50 years and older this month.
Individuals will be able to sign up to get their vaccine at the DeVos Place clinic.
Officials say the venue is ready, they just need more supply.
The clinic can handle 40,000 vaccinations in a day at full capacity.
However, DeVos Place doesn't yet know how many vaccines will be available to them next week.
