MUSKEGON, Mich. - Another shooting, this time in Muskegon, proved to be fatal.
According to the Officers of the Muskegon Police Department, authorities responded to Holbrook Ave on a report of shots fired in the area. Officers arriving on scene located a vehicle containing a 25-year-old Muskegon man, Cameron Cooper, who was found to be suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.
Cooper was transported by ambulance to Mercy Health of Muskegon's ER for treatment, where he was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made regarding this shooting, and an investigation is currently ongoing.
