Chadwick Boseman star of ‘Black Panther’ has died of cancer at age 42

LOS ANGELES (WOOD TV) — A personal representative for actor Chadwick Boseman, who starred as Black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown before finding fame as the Black Panther in the Marvel film, died Friday of cancer, Boseman was 43.

Sources said Boseman died at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side.
