$10K reward for info on missing Oakland Co. man

ROTHBURY, Mich. (WOOD) — The family of an Oakland County man who was last seen at the Electric Forest Music Festival has offered a $10,000 reward for information that helps locate him.

Kevin Graves 28, was last seen with his girlfriend July 1 at the music festival in Rothbury. His family said the two got into an argument and Graves left the concert to return to his tent. When Graves' girlfriend went back to look for him, he was not there.

"By Sunday afternoon, nobody could find him," Graves' father Gary Graves said. "He just disappeared."

He said his son normally keeps in contact with his mother, but she's hasn't heard from him and neither has anyone else they know.

"If I can see him again and talk to him, I don't care. I won't be mad at him," Gary Graves said. "I just want to put him in my arms again."

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is investigating, the Oceana County Sheriff's Office is assisting and Graves' family members have been following up on tips for days, but so far nothing has panned out.

"We've been up here looking all over for him. We've done everything. We've followed all kinds of leads," Gary Graves told 24 Hour News 8 in Muskegon Sunday. "People claim they saw him down here in Muskegon, so we've been following all of the leads that they gave us and we've been drawing up a lot of dead ends. But it's been worth it for us just to know that people are looking for him."

Kevin Graves is described as 6 feet tall and 185 pounds with blue eyes, blonde hair and a beard. On his left shoulder, he has a tattoo of the letters "USMC" with a spear through them.

Anyone with information on Graves should call the Oakland County Sheriff's Department at 248-882-4279 or Michigan State Police Hart Post at 231-873-2171 or Mason-Oceana Central Dispatch at 231-869-5858.
