Feds: Woman stole $1.4M from GR company

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman is facing federal charges for allegedly stealing nearly $1.4 million from a Grand Rapids company.

According to an indictment unsealed Thursday, Darci Shillington faked invoices to transfer large sums of money from Hilco Technologies, where she worked, into her personal account.

The court documents says she made several transfers, including three for $248,000, between May and September 2017. The smallest amount transferred was $95,000.
