Grand Rapids police are investigating a shooting that wounded a teen and an infant.
Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the 400 block of Delaware Street SE near Madison after the 15-year-old showed up at a house with a gunshot wound. Police said the wounded infant was also in the vehicle. Both were taken to the hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Grand Rapids police believe the shooting stemmed from an armed robbery involving a cellphone that happened in the area of Alpine Avenue and Leonard Street NW.
